College
Mathematics CLEP Test
The
College Mathematics CLEP Test covers the material that is taught
in a onesemester class at the 101 college level. Half of this test
is simple and straightforward questions. The remainder of the questions
are solved by applying your knowledge to the possibly abstract question
and determining an answer.
This
test will cover number system, logic, sets, equations, functions,
graphs, probability, and statistics. This test assumes that you
know the basic vocabulary, symbols and notations generally found
in a college level mathematics course. No questions will require
the use of a calculator. However, there is a calculator built in
to the testing center software. You will not be able to bring your
own calculator.
This
is the easiest math CLEP test that you can take. Unless you are
very experienced in math, we recommend that you take the earlier/easier
math exams. The order of difficulty is as follows, from easiest
to hardest: college mathematics, college algebra, precalculus, calculus.
You
will need to answer 60 questions in 90 minutes. There is no penalty
for guessing on the test and there are some pretest questions included
that are not scored.

Testimonials
I just
wanted to let you know that I used your College Mathematics study
guide and passed my test. I had not picked up a math book since
high school, 12 years ago. Thank you for the great guide. I am now
studying for my Natural Sciences and US History I & II tests.
I will be using your guides for those tests as well.
Thank you, John S. 11/27/06
I bought
your study guide for the college mathematics test and passed! Thanks,

I just
wanted to drop you guys a line and tell you that I passed my final
CLEP exam last Monday which gives me all of the credits I need to
graduate. I have taken 30 credits worth of CLEP exams and I’ve
passed them all by using your study guides. I actually purchased
one of your study guides and failed my first test. I didn’t
fail because of your guide though, I failed because I didn’t
manage my time effectively and I ran short. I looked at your study
guide after failing though, and a lot of the information on your
study guide was very relevant to what was on the test. So, I tried
again with a different test and a different study guide of yours.
I passed. This pattern continues for 30 credits. I graduate on June
9th thanks to you guys, so I wanted to say thank you. The guides
were worth every penny. Thanks, John S 5/21/07
